Qualcomm CDMA Technologies Asia-Pacific Pte. Ltd. (“QCTAP”), a subsidiary of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a pioneer in mobile gaming technologies through its Qualcomm Snapdragon brand, and JioGames, India's largest and fastest-growing digital company, announced the start of a year-long partnership on JioGames' Esports platform. The two companies' partnership is expected to result in a better gaming experience. The partnership is expected to provide superior gaming experiences to gamers across India through a series of contests organised by JioGames on the JioGames Esports website, with QCTAP as a title sponsor. The partnership will kick off with the ‘Call of Duty Mobile Aces Esports Challenge,' which will be held on the JioGames Esports website.
JioGames Esports is a Jio initiative aimed at building a strong domestic Esports ecosystem for India's increasingly increasing Esports community and fan base, leveraging the platform's massive scope and over 400 million subscribers. Important Announcement:
- The registration period will begin on April 1, 2021.
- The deadline for solo registration is April 11th, and the
deadline for 5v5 team play is April 30th, 2021.
- Qualifiers will be held on June 11th, 2021.
- Finals are scheduled for June 20th, 2021.
Tournament Format:
- COD Mobile Solo Aces - With a prize pool of 3,60,000 INR, this format will feature a Solo Battle Royale mode. The tournament will be split into three stages: qualification, playoffs, and the finals. The qualifier stage will take place from April 14 to April 26.
- COD Mobile Community Aces - This format will also debut on April 14th and will have a multiplayer mode. There will be four stages to the tournament, with a total prize pool of 21,40,000 INR.

Tournament Stages:
- 1st Stage: All-Star Aces – 32 invited teams will compete for a prize pool of 4 lakh INR and 16 playoff berths. The bottom 16 teams will be relegated to the Challengers Stage Final.
- 2nd Stage: Group Aces will feature 2,048 registered teams vying for a prize pool of 2,40,000 INR and 16 Final Challengers Stage berths.
- 3rd Stage- The Final Challengers Stage top 16 from Stage 2 and the bottom 16 from Stage 1 will compete for 16 playoff berths in a best-of-seven format.
- Step 4: Playoffs/Grand Finals- To decide a winner, 32 top teams will participate in a best-of-five elimination format. The prize pool for the finals will be a whopping 15,00,000 INR.
COD Mobile Tournament registration details
Registration for the tournament started on April 1st and will end on April 11th at 9:00 p.m. IST. The participation is free, but the CODM account must be at least Level 7.
How to register for CODM India at Jiogames portal:
- Step 1: Go to https://play.jiogames.com/esports/#/esports/tournament/details/7 and sign up for the tournament.
- Step 2: In the featured tournament portion, click on the COD Mobile Aces Solo Battle Royale/Multiplayer banner.
- Step 3: Gamers must choose to enter, after which they will be prompted to log in or build an account. In the Profile section, enter the Game ID.
- Step 4: Fill in the blanks in the requisition.
