Introduction

Latest and advanced high speed, very durable lightweight, and zero sound Hard drives of future which do not need any cables are the M.2 SATA PCI Hard Disk Drives.
If you look at this drive, you will feel like someone has just made a RAM little bigger and replaced its pins on another corner on it. In this drive, there is no spindle, no cluster, no magnetic tapes, and it is very lightweight, faster but expensive as being a new technology, but soon it will be cheaper(That's what happens when technology grows older).
Initially, as per my knowledge, I know the whistleblower of cheap cost, very economic SSD HDD was Hynix M.2. Still, now we can see that big players like Intel and Samsung are participating in it. There are a whole bunch of other manufacturers renaming it innovating it more because of their additional research, and innovations added to SSD are making it more expensive.
Who invented this technology? 
In the mid-1950s, as the transistor was emerging from IBM research, IBM developed its first bulk solid-state nonvolatile memory called the Charged Capacitor Read-Only Store (CCROS). It was the first real SSD and was the predecessor to today's EPROMS, EEPROMS, UVPROMS, NVPROMS, and FLASH memory devices.
But the SSD which we see these days on computers, I had seen it for the very first time on Intel Broadwell chipset.
Even found that there are different types of pins configuration can be used and totally depended upon chipset manufacturer how they decide to put it in there. It also found that it can be configured to use with SATA port, USB 3.0, and even USB 2.0 configuration.
The M.2 specification provides up to four PCI Express lanes and one logical SATA 3.0 (6 Gbit/s) port and exposes them through the same connector so both PCI Express and SATA storage devices may exist in the form of M.2 modules.
It uses AHCI and NVMe technologies, which means it is way faster and may replace multiple computer HW.
If you remember PATA port that was old technology, then comes SATA, now using PCI port, we are again exploiting parallel data communication.
When we compare this Hard drive with the available traditional Hard Drive in the market, we find that normal SATA Hard Disk Drive approximate transmits the data at the rate of 600 MB/s.
When we make it Hybrid, it goes somewhere around 900 MB/s.
But Hynix M.2 SSD (SC308, PC300, etc..) drives being very expensive provided a very high transmission speed of approximately 2500 MB/s.
Following the lead, Intel declared its very own labeled HDD INTEL OPTANE.
In two variants, 1 M.2 SSD and SATA SSD.
Intel Optane SATA SSD has an approximate speed of 2000 MB/s
whereas Intel Optane M.2 PCIe has an estimated speed of 3500 MB/s.
Samsung 960 Pro has approximate the same range and dimension as Intel Optane.
This Hard Disk Drivers only supports (Except SATA SSD) UEFI Firmware, and will not work on Legacy firmware.
Technology is becoming very faster. We have seen the 5G connection in the US, and with this rate of the high-speed computer, the world is definitely going to be compact and automated, so be future-ready for it.
